Why Learn Cybersecurity
The Demand for Cyber Talent
The opportunity is massive in both San José and across the United States. According to research from cyberseek.org, in San José alone, there are currently over 10,610 open cybersecurity roles and a very low supply of cybersecurity talent.
Nationally, there are over half a million cyber jobs that employers are trying to fill. Businesses actively seeking cybersecurity professionals span across all industries and sizes, and they include local high-tech employers like Apple, Google, and Cisco Systems, to name a few.
These companies are hiring for roles like Cybersecurity Specialist, Network Security Engineer, and Vulnerability Analyst. Grads studying the SJSU Cyber Bootcamp curriculum will be prepared for roles like these—and more.
